THE SMITH STREET BAND // Announce Massive Three-Month Aussie Tour

Indie darlings The Smith Street Band have announced a mammoth three-month Australian headline tour starting in March, hot off the heels of their Pool House Party on the 17th.

This will be the first tour since launching their ARIA chart-topping (#3) album More Scared of You Than You Are of Me, which got top gong in our Best 25 Albums of 2017 list.

The Australia wide tour  teams them up with special guests Bec Sandridge and up-and-comers Press Club. No Aussie can complain they’re too far away – they are literally playing every major city in our land girt by sea.

2017 also saw the band tour America and Europe more than once, plus nab spots at Groovin The Moo, triple j’s One Night Stand in Mt Isa and Splendour in the Grass. They also were anointed with a support slot for Midnight Oil in Melbourne and LA, before seeing out the year at Falls Festival.

They’ll begin the tour at their very own Pool House Party at the Coburg Velodrome, featuring two stages and 18 of their favourite bands.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, the 16th of January at 12pm at the band’s website.
