Known offstage as Wyatt and Fletcher Shears, the duo have also put alongside the album news the release of its first single, Clench To Stay Awake (oh, my!). Obscure is as obscure does, with the single being a, shall we say, vibrant, rabid rush of melody that serves as an exploration into both brothers’ experiences with mysterious health issues over the years.
It is said that Kiss My Super Bowl Ring will rival The Garden’s previous releases, both sonically and lyrically, with news from The Garden headquarters saying this release may yet be the most creatively rattling from the duo yet.
Since their formation in 2011, The Garden have carved a reputation for themselves for their fast, punk-influenced jungle and DnB styles, releasing a total of three studio albums and four EPs.
The Garden are also known for their relentless touring schedule, having embarked on often unpredictable and jester-like appearances in the US, Europe, China, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and Mexico in just seven years.
Last year The Garden made their Coachella debut, having previously appeared at festivals like Sasquatch, Riot Fest, Tropicalia, and more.
