With a current roster housing bands such as We Were Sharks and Broadside, Victory has diversified its sound, moving slightly away from its post-hardcore roots.

But they refuse to move too far, staying true to themselves. In a statement on 7th February, Victory announced that they had signed Melodic Hardcore group, Don’t Sleep.

Don’t Sleep is the most recent venture for prolific vocalist, Dave Smalley. Having fronted many successful bands, including DYS, Dag Nasty, Down By Law and All, Smalley is no stranger to the punk/hardcore scene. His relentless passion and love of hardcore are evident on all his work. With Don’t Sleep, Smalley joins forces with fellow hardcore stalwart’s Tom McGrath and Tony Bavaria on guitar, bassist Garrett Rothman, and Jim Bedorf on the skins.

Forming in 2017, Don’t Sleep have already released two EP’s, 2017’s Don’t Sleep and Bring The Light in 2018. They have also shared the stage with some big names in the field, including Madball, Sick of it All, and Shelter. With superb pedigree and an unrivalled desire to do good, Don’t Sleep are ready to unleash on the scene.

Don’t Sleep are currently in the studio, recording their debut full length, with legends, Grammy-nominated producers Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland. The album is set for release this winter, via Victory, and will include the trademark harmonies and melodic punchiness that Don’t Sleep have already become synonymous with.
