Dear Joey and Brooke, What a wild ride! I just wanted to write to express …
Beers up! Sydney’s The Bifters have released another blues-rock bop.

This time it’s BWS, the first taste of their upcoming debut album Reefer Madness, set to drop later this year.
The Bifters have been one of the better parts of the lockdown era. Since forming in early 2020, they’ve shared singles Queen of Machine and Sugar Mama, carrying the essence of blues-rock with them but with some added crunch.
That’s not the only thing we love about The Bifters though. They’ve also expertly blended new-age rock and doom influences and taken cues from both modern and retro acts (see: Queens of the Stone Age, AC/DC and Clutch), positioning themselves right up the top of our “ones to watch” list.
To celebrate the release of BWS, The Bifters have announced a small run of shows in Sydney. They’ve previously played to packed crowds at The Factory Theatre, Frankie’s Pizza and Lazy Bones Lounge.
BWS is available to stream now.
Reefer Madness was recorded with George Georgiadis at Def Wolf Studios. Keep your eyes on the band’s socials for more details on its release.
