THORNHILL // Drop New Single And Announce More Tour Dates

Thornhill has released their latest audio-visual assault in the form of Where We Go When We Die, the second single to be taken from The Dark Pool.

It follows lead single Nurture, and the band’s hometown album launch show selling out over two months in advance. Adding to the touring front, the band has also announced further headline tour dates in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide for November.

“This song is not purely about whether religions and idols are real, or if there is anything after death, but more the fact that we try to fast track our lives to get to that ‘paradise’ more than we spend realising that we live in it,” says frontman Jacob Charlton. “It’s more about killing our paradise (earth) now with hopes of finding another one or just shrugging it off to let future generations solve when it could truly become unsolvable.”

“I think the song itself acts as a bit of a movie, it goes for five and-a-half minutes and has ups and downs and goes in all different places. It’s a real journey of a song and I think that’s what is expressed in the music video,” adds Charlton. “When I heard the song in full I knew it had to be a music video because I could already see this happening and that happening with that certain hit or this part and so on, so I knew it would translate well.”

Since forming in 2016, Thornhill have toured with the likes of Northlane, Architects, Parkway Drive, In Hearts Wake and Polaris and released their 2018 EP Butterfly and single Coven.
