New Years Day have released Shut Up, the second track from their upcoming LP, Unbreakable.

Four years on from their last full length album, New Years Day are grooming fans for what’s to come from their new compilation produced by Mitchell Marlow (All That Remains, In This Moment, Butcher Babies) and Scott Stevens (American Authors, Halestorm, Shinedown). With talent this big behind the release, we can be sure to expect hard hitting tracks.

From this, Shut Up is the empowering second release, following last November’s hit single, Skeletons. This track is heavy, it’s loud and it’s already clocked over 50K views on YouTube.

Frontwoman, Ash Costello reveals, “Shut Up was written in a day, which just doesn’t happen. I was going through some heavy personal stuff, and I was just, ‘don’t tell me what I want, shut up and give it to me.” If this is anything to go by, the new LP is sure to be packed with heart-wrenching ripper tunes.

Unbreakable drops on April 26, via RED MUSIC/Sony Music Australia, and can be pre-ordered digitally and physically here. Until then, be sure to stream it with your volume turned up on both Spotify and Apple music.
