GRAVEMIND // Announce Killer New Single And Tour Dates

Videos perfectly crafted, killer rollouts and insane detail in deathcore–Gravemind are back with a brand new single!

Back in the fray with more niche-within-niche deathcore, Lifelike is about being born against your will and one day dying, an intense exploration into life and death. To reflect this sobering theme, Gravemind are putting the single out on 7” vinyl, which includes a limited run of 10 test presses.

Each test press comes with a laser cut wooden box and a lyric page typewritten by vocalist Dylan Gillies-Parsons. When wet and submerged in soil, the paper after time and care will grow into forget-me-not flowers. Essentially, the owner can choose to create life, watch it flourish, and then die, or choose to hold onto the lyric page for as long as they can. Gillies-Parsons said of the link between this limited release and the song, “We thought it’d be fitting to give fans the option to literally create life, watch it flourish, and then die before their very eyes.”

Lifelike is about being alive, but not really being there at all. It’s about being born against your will, and the reality that someday soon, we all die. It was our intention to write a song that is intrinsically Gravemind, but also very unique from our previous releases. This song is about us, all of us, because no one can escape from this.”

Gravemind are taking the new single out on tour in May hitting up the east coast with special guests Diamond Construct and 23/19.
