Brand new song Make Hey! is a ska style single that packs a whole lot of punk rock punch. The song is about making the best of a bad situation, an ideal The Porkers have experienced first hand.

Following what seemed like endless relationship issues, friendship difficulties and line-up changes, the seven-man-band took a five year hiatus. Returning in 2014, The Porkers were added to the Soundwave Festival lineup and have been turning things around ever since.

Make Hey! will be released via the band’s Facebook page on Feb 10 7pm AEST(this Saturday), accompanied by a video that’s been described as “Tarantino meets Austin Powers”—an intriguing juxtaposition if we’ve ever seen one!

The track will be available to download on Feb 12 via itunes and other sharing platforms.

A busy year is to follow with the release of a new, yet untitled full length album, plus the 20th anniversary of the release of The Porkers 1998 Hot Dog Daiquiri album with it being available on vinyl for first time, and some full album live shows to be announced.

Meanwhile 2 shows to launch Make Hey! are happening.
Fri Feb 23 – The Wickham Park Hotel, Newcastle.
Sat Feb 24 – Club York, Sydney.
