Crossfaith, the Japanese electro-metal giants, are back with a new single.

The Perfect Nightmare premiered over at Metal Injection and comes from their as-yet-untitled fifth album which is scheduled for release later this year.

“Welcome to our new chapter! It’s one of the heaviest tracks we’ve ever made. This song got full of chaos and brutality so we wanted to make this video with sickness and strangeness too. Watch this and let you have a huge expectation for upcoming album! See you soon!” says vocalist Kenta Koie of the track.

Crossfaith have always been a band that loves to experiment and their unique brand of rock, metal and electronic fusion has seen them wow fans at shows across the globe as they bring their epic levels of enthusiasm and energy to the stage.

And as it’s been three years since the release of their last album, the critically acclaimed XENO, fans are definitely ready for the next chapter, which by the sound of this single, will certainly aim to be the band’s most crushing release to date.

European and UK fans will be lucky enough to catch them at shows across October, so we can only hope they are planning to return to Australia in the near future.
