AWAKEN I AM // Launch New Single And Video ‘Dissolution’

Awaken I Am introduce new vocalist Jimmy Stevenson in a follow up single to Blind Love.

Australian progressive pop rockers Awaken I Am have launched their emotionally charged new single Dissolution on 30th April, 2018 via Victory Records. It’s paired with a thought-provoking new video directed by Dustin Smith. Since the release of Blind Love in September 2017, the Gold Coast and Brisbane locals have toured extensively in Australia and the United States.

Dissolution marks the introduction of new vocalist Jimmy Stevenson who has joined the band following the departure of Adam Roger Douglas in January 2018. This new single unleashes some serious cathartic rage for Awaken I Am as they put the past behind them and storm into the next chapter of their story. “This song is a chance for me to get some closure and say some things I never had the chance to say. The new sound and imagery symbolises taking a step forward, leaving the past and old ways behind,” states drummer Luke McKenzie.

With the release of Dissolution, Awaken I Am are getting back on the road across Australia and New Zealand once again, supporting Escape The Fate on their 10th Anniversary tour.
