ANTAGONIST AD // Join New Label And Announce New Single

Oceanic hardcore group Antagonist AD have announced today they’re joining Greyscale Records and have dropped their latest single, No Justice.

The track is based on ferocity and has strengthened their recent absence from the limelight, making Antagonist AD come back with a vengeance. Upon the release of the single, lead vocalist Sam Crocker says the track is also about prejudice. “No Justice is about coming to the reality that western society was built upon prejudice and injustice. That the only way to change it is to first change yourself and own your actions and consequences”, Crocker says.

“The only way to find justice is to be accountable for the way you live—accepting that your actions have consequences. So we will push on for change, living a better way, one step at a time”, Crocker says.

Since joining Greyscale Records, Antagonist AD are back and are better than ever. Crocker believes that the fire ‘within him is raging’. Sam says of their future: “Our shows were always crazy and we missed that energy, that feeling and that’s why we’re back. The music is not just for us, it is for everyone”, he says.

“We feed each other, the feeling of being connected, the release and the empowerment. We have written our best stuff yet, and as long as people are there to get down—we are gonna bring it!”, Crocker continued.

The New Zealand based band are returning to Australia next month, with shows lined up for Melbourne and Sydney where they’ll perform alongside up-and-comers Imprisoned, Dregg and Homesick.

“We never stopped. We are very happy to turn this page and share what we have been working on. I can not wait to step back into the fray”, Crocker says of their impending gigs.
