VOIID // Release Film Clip For ‘Silly Girl’

The four piece are here to kick your teeth in with their absolute thrasher of a new film clip for single, Silly Girl.

In the clip, directed by Gold Coast legend Harley Jones, the group let their inner badass out on a ‘silly girl’, played by Clay Daley. With the help of their trusty Doc Martens and guitars, the punk rockers get their sweet revenge on the worst kind of human, kicking them down for stealing their Hungry Jacks, beers, darts and Morphe palettes.

Off the back of the film clip, the four piece are also gearing up to hit the road again, jumping on a string of shows this weekend in support of Cosmic Psychos on their Loudmouth Soup tour.

VOIID stomped their way onto the scene in 2016, forming in a wine fuelled haze with the aim of pissing off their neighbours with their garage punk noise. In their short history, they have already built up a massive support arsenal, holding opening slots for Grinspoon, Skegss, The Gooch Palms, Bleeding Knees Club, Camp Cope, Drunk Mums and Amyl & The Sniffers, just to name a few.  

VOIID have also just played the Groovin the Moo festival in Townsville, and will continue to add more notches to their belts later in the year when they play a string of currently unannounced tours. VOIID are set to release their next single, Not For You later in the month. In the meantime, Silly Girl is available for both streaming and purchase.
