WIL WAGNER // Embarking on Biggest ‘Solo’ Tour with Jeff Rosenstock

Wil Wagner Solo Tour

The Smith Street Band front man Wil Wagner is about to embark on his two biggest solo shows to date. Accompanying him is New Yorker Jeff Rosenstock, the pair no strangers to performing or recording together.

Rosenstock has joined Wagner on tour in Australia and America, and even produced The Smith Street Band’s 2014 album Throw Me In The River.

There’s less than 50 tickets left for the duo’s performance at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory, while tickets for Melbourne show at the Corner Hotel have been snapped up. As the saying goes, if you snooze you lose.

The Smith Street Band have just completed a string of dates around Europe, lapping up the summer sun around Europe and The UK.

Wagner managed to injure his leg before jetting off to Dublin about a month ago, forcing the band to cancel a show in the Irish city.

Like Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl, he positioned himself on a makeshift throne while performing live through most of the European tour.

Wagner now seems to be back on his feet, and once rested will promise two intimate and passionate solo shows not to be missed.

Thursday August 18th – Oxford Art Factory, Sydney

Friday August 19th – Corner Hotel, Melbourne
