TIRED LION // Drop New Music Video + Announce March Tour Dates

The Grunge Pop legends in Tired Lion have dropped the music video for the infectious new single, With Or Without.

Directed by Joe Agius of The Creases’, the clip follows frontwoman Sophie Hopes (through a fish-eye lens at least!) as she travels through venues and bars in her hometown of Brisbane. With Or Without, released late last year, is the first single released by the band since their debut record, Dumb Days, dropped back in 2016 (Nabbing a pretty outstanding Triple J feature record slot too by the way). It is also their first single since the departure of founding member and guitarist, Matt Tanner back in 2018.

Marking a new era for the band, the track is filled to the brim with thick hooks, crunchy guitar lines and an atmospheric production, care of producer Luke Boerdam (of Violent Soho fame). It stands as one of the most confessional pieces of the bands career, thanks to Hopes’ no-holds-barred, heart-on-her-sleeve, trademark lyricism.

Following this, Tired Lion, now comprised of Hopes, drummer Ethan Darnell, bassist Nick Vasey and live member Joel Martin, have announced a sneaky little East Coast Tour. Armed with their new single, the band will hit the road in March, and will play a string of intimate club shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

It’s a short wait for tickets to become available though, with sales ticking on from 9am local time, this Friday the 18th January. Tickets will be available via the bands official site (which you can access right here).
