THE GHOST INSIDE // Dedicate AP Award Win to Lost Drivers

The Ghost Inside have taken out Most Dedicated Fanbase at the coveted 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards, then dedicating the win to the deceased drivers of a horror smash involving the band last year.

TGI’s tour bus collided with a semi truck near the Mexican-U.S. border around El Paso, Texas in November 2015.

Two people were killed, including the band’s bus driver, with ten band and crew members all seriously injured.

Members have battled psychological and physical injuries since, with drummer Andrew Tkaczyk losing a leg and singer Jonathan Vigil recovering from broken bones and infection.

Social media has erupted with support and praise for the band, with In Heart’s Wake singer Jake Taylor expressing his love for seeing all band members accept the award on stage together.

Life’s swinging hard, but The Ghost Inside and their fans are swinging harder.
