THE GHOST INSIDE // Confirmed for Vans Warped Tour 2017

The Ghost Inside will make a triumphant return to the stage, playing at Vans Warped Tour 2017.

The news was announced during the festival’s live lineup announcement this evening US time.

“When that accident happened, I said, ‘I will hold this spot until the day before Warped Tour started.’ I said ‘It’s your spot,’” Vans Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman said.

“I’ve never announced a band for a tour a year and a half ahead. [The] Ghost Inside will be on the 2017 Warped Tour.”

TGI were due to play at the festival this year, but a horrific bus accident left band members severely injured.

In November 2015 their tour bus collided with a semi-truck just East of El Paso in Texas. Drivers of each vehicle were killed in the incident.

Ghost Inside drummer Andrew Tkaczyk had his leg amputated, while frontman Jonathan Vigil now battles a bone infection.
