Fans are taking Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor’s word that the band’s new album has got “everything you could ever want on a rock ‘n’ roll album”, with the metal titans first Brisbane show selling out.

The band have added a second Brisbane show to their Australian itinerary due to demand, with My Live Nation members granted access to the pre-sale tomorrow morning from 10am. Tickets will available to the general public from 10am, Friday 30 June. Click here for more info.

The August tour will be the first time the band has graced Australian shores since their run on the legendary 2013 Soundwave Festival lineup, a tour which also saw them perform alongside Linkin Park at their sideshows.

Fans who were lucky enough to catch the band on that tour would have seen the band perform cuts from their acclaimed concept record The House of Gold and Bones: Part 1.

Since then the band has gone on to produce part 2 of the aforementioned story, as well as a handful of crushing new singles from their forthcoming record Hydrograd, available worldwide on Friday.

The album’s lead single Song #3 hit number one on US rock charts, with fans affirming Taylor’s claim that the new record is the band at their melodic best.

“Dude, it’s the most fun I’ve ever had making an album”, says Taylor.

It was the easiest album I’ve ever made, and yet it is so strong, it’s so badass. It is tight, it’s fast, it’s rocking, it’s crushing, it’s melodic, there’s songs for the ladies … it’s probably one of the things I’m most proud of in my life.”

With one date sold out and all other shows moving fast, book now to avoid having to wait another four years to catch the rock powerhouse.
