SLIPKNOT // To Release ‘Day Of The Gusano’ Documentary

Slipknot have been teasing us with videos this week and many have been wondering what is about to go down. Well now we know that the teasers have been the lead up to the announcement of their new documentary, Day of The Gusano. The film will premiere in selected cinemas around the world on September 6th 2017 and it features an in-depth look at the band’s Knotfest in Mexico City and explores their fan base with exclusive interviews with the band members

Clown, aka M. Shawn Crahan, directs this documentary, which was filmed in 2015 and it follows the band as they head to Mexico for their first ever show.

And this isn’t just any old film release. Slipknot are reaching out to their fans by way of the campaign #AskSlipknot. Maggots have been advised that they can ask the band anything they want by submitting all questions to Slipknot’s Facebook or Twitter page with the hashtag #AskSlipknot. Then a selection will be chosen, with the answers to appear as part of the cinema screenings. Get your questions in by June 13th to get your chance to be included!
