SET THE SCORE // Tackle Lovers’ Addiction in ‘Homebound’ – PREMIERE

Hysteria with MinorMajor are proud to present Melbourne pop-punks Set The Score’s blistering new video for single Homebound, chronicling a lover’s downward spiral into drug addiction. Watch below:

The video was directed by Kieran Ellis-Jones of Crystal Arrow films. Homebound is their first new release since 2016 EP Where We Sit, a follow-up to 2015’s Render Me Useless.

“Lyrically Homebound is about my experiences with someone that I shared my whole life, who chose to go down the path of drugs and the influence they had over me,” says vocalist David Bell.

“Instrumentally, I wanted Homebound to nail all the basics of song structure and songwriting,”  says guitarist, Matt Van Duppen.

Drummer Adam Pinzone describes the track: “It’s got the intro that sets the feel of the track right from the start, the catchy chorus melodies, the interesting bridge, and we’ve made sure it all gels together. I think we’ve done that.”

(USA), Short Stack, The Wonder Years (USA), Moose Blood (UK), Mayday Parade (USA), With Confidence, and many more. They have embarked on two national tours; a co-headline run with Eat Your Heart Out in 2015, and a support slot with Queensland’s Kings At Heart.

The band will support the launch with a special matinee headline show at Wrangler Studios on 21 May.
