Black masses, congregate! The wolves are back, so come bare witness to Sweden’s unmerciful and …
The sultry single My Hands by electro artist, Ocean Grove collaborator, and producer Running Touch now has an accompanying music video that is both artistic and seductive, filled with red lights and silhouettes.
Released alongside a remix package featuring reworks by collaborators Adult Art Club and Superlover, Running Touch has already started the summer vibes with his relaxed and catchy single.
Directed by Running Touch, the music video is an expression and exploration of the human form and sexuality. Wanting to capture something personal and intimate, the artist explained that the footage was captured in the same space as he created the song, with friends of his; “[Filming in the room I shot the music video in] and the people in it were friends of mine, so it made the whole process feel a lot more belonging to this project … The idea was to make it more of a mood piece more than anything. The concept was simple, so I thought why not just trying [to] do it myself?”
Matched with a very DIY, home movie aesthetic, Running Touch said the idea was to make it feel ‘less artificial’. Influenced by the ‘shitty aesthetic’ of VHS skate videos from when he was younger, and film directors Grant Singer and Jonas Lindstroem, all shaped the My Hands music video.
Running Touch is also taking on the east coast in October with a three day tour dubbed the My Hands Tour, with pre-sale tickets on sale Friday 10th of August for those subscribed to his mailing list. General sale tickets will be up for grabs on Monday 13th of August.
