Following the buzz around the announcement of new EP Hard To Swallow, the Melbourne alt-metal outfit have moved into the next stage of hype, releasing new single and video, Phase. Watch below.
The song and Hard To Swallow EP was produced and engineered by Evan Lee at STL Studios Sydney.
Sonny Truelove provided additional engineering, with mixing and mastering completed by Evan Lee and Ash Daws at The Loud Noise Estate.
Hard To Swallow is set for a 26 October release via iTunes & Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon and more.
“Phase is about that one person who can influence you to do things you normally wouldn’t,” states vocalist Joshua Westwick. “Things that are ultimately bad for both of you. It’s about destroying yourself and drowning in someone’s toxic environment because of how much you care about them. This Music Video was filmed in The Loud Noise Estate’s drum tracking room. This clip was a last minute decision and we just wanted to have fun with it. We are stoked with how it came out!”
Previous single Hypocrite stormed the usual outlets, airing on triple j’s The Racket, adding to rotation on The Faction Radio, gaining a spot on Spotify Official’s Homegrown and Heavy playlist, and also saw the clip playing on ABC TV’s rage, and Kill Your Stereo.
Formed in 2015, the outfit has carved out a slab of the metal market in Melbourne and Australia, supporting big names such as Make Them Suffer, Deez Nuts, Alpha Wolf, Earth Caller, and Justice for The Damned, plus making interstate runs with Boris The Blade.
