PARKWAY DRIVE // Winston McCall On Architects New Album: ‘Masterpiece’

Parkway Drive frontman Winston McCall has proclaimed Architects yet to be released album All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us as the band’s best record yet.

From a friendship spanning more than 10 years between both bands, McCall has listened to the album in its entirety, dubbing it a “masterpiece”.

While I was asleep my mates in @architects dropped the first piece of their monster album. If you haven't heard it yet,go lurk YouTube for A Match Made In Heaven. I've known these guys for over 10 years now, and toured most of the globe with them. A couple on months ago I got chance to hear this masterpiece in full. I couldn't be more proud or happy for this bunch of lads. As an Architects fan from all the way back at Nightmares, I'll tell you all this much. All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us is THE best Architects record, hands down. If your not hyped yet, you fucking should be. Well done lads. May 27

The Brighton band premiered their first single A Match Made In Heaven via BBC Radio 1 overnight, with Australian fans waking up to new sounds from the UK five-piece this morning.

There’s no shortage of angst and passion from frontman Sam Carter in both the new song and it’s accompanying film clip, his vendetta against capitalism and political corruption an obvious focal point. It’s been a long standing theme for Carter, and the new single shows us he hasn’t shied away from such topics.

All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us is set for release via UNFD on 27 May.
