OLI SYKES // Guest Stars With Other Celebs in Charli XCX Video

Art pop “entrepreneur” Charli XCX has unveiled her new self-directed video for Boys, featuring Oli Sykes among a host of all-male celebrities, including  Joe Jonas, Brendon Urie and will.i.am. (Check him out at 0:13!)

The video was produced in collaboration with Jerker Hansson (Zara Larsson, Terror Jnr) and Cass Lowe (Snakehips, Rudimental) on Boys marking the second official single from her forthcoming third album, which will be released next year. We don’t know who these people are, either.

The video also features Stormzy, Mark Ronson, Diplo, Mac DeMarco, Riz Ahmed and many other notables.

Charli, aka Charlotte Aitchison,  says in a statement: “Boys is my favourite music video I’ve ever made. I just wanna say a big thanks to all the boys involved, for totally embracing and understanding my vision and being excited by the concept p.s. no boys were harmed in the making of this video.”

To date, Ms XCX has won 2 x NME Awards, 2 x Billboard Awards, 1 x YouTube Music Award alongside an array of nominations at the Grammy’s, BRIT Awards and MTV EMAs.

Charli will be heading to Australia to join SIA on her Nostalgic for the Presenttour dates Melbourne and Sydney in November/December. Unfortunately, Oli won’t be tipped to tag along.
