MAX & IGGOR CAVALERA // Return To ‘Roots’ Down Under

Hysteria, together with Destroy All Lines, Chugg Entertainment and HEAVY, are proud to present one of heavy metal’s most sought after reunions—Max and Iggor Cavalera playing Sepultura’s iconic Roots album Australia.

The pair will play Roots in its entirety at every show. The tour will begin on 21st September in Brisbane, land in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, before concluding on the 26th in Perth.

Max Cavalera says: “Metalheads. It’s time. Twenty years ago, we released the Roots album and changed the face of metal forever. Now, we’re returning to ‘The Roots’ to show everybody the magic and inspiration of the Roots live experience!”

Iggor adds: “I am very proud to play Roots again – to reaffirm that after 20 years, it still moves people. We hit the stage again with Roots to destroy everywhere we pass by.”

Max (Soulfly, Killer Be Killed) and Iggor Cavalera (Sepultura) wrote and recorded Roots over 20 years ago as part of Sepultura. Parting ways with their respective bands soon after, they join forces once more to celebrate the release of one of metal’s most influential records.

Joining them will be Welsh rasta-metallers Skindred, known for their high energy “properly mental” shows.
