MADAM WONG // Get Frisky On New Song ‘Cannibal’

Sydney melodic punk rockers Madam Wong ask “whatever happened to good ol’ fashioned romance” on new song Cannibal, and it ends up in a police intervention. You’ll see in the video below:

The song is taken from their debut EP And The Sunlight’s Creepin’ In, set for release this March.

Formed only two years ago, they’ve made a big splash on the Sydney scene, “delivering uplifting and heartfelt songs, that bring to mind bands such as Against Me!, The Menzingers, and The Smith Street Band,” a statement reads.

The band recorded Cannibal in 2017 under the tutelage of Daniel Antix at Def Wolf Studios.

Despite their relative freshness, they’ve already played with bands such as Antonia and the Lazy Susans, Raised as Wolves, Batfoot!, Chris Duke and the Royals, and many others.

Looking forward this year sees Madam Wong play shows around the country in support of their debut EP.

Dates and venues to be announced in the coming weeks.
