The first album since 2014’s Rooms of the House, La Dispute will release their latest work Panorama through Epitaph Records on 22nd March 2019.

With a combination of jazz, rock, slowcore and hardcore, among other influences, the new album will span ten tracks, each an ambitious narrative that tells a story through a personal lens.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the first two singles from the band’s upcoming release have been dropped.

With a music video of muted colours and an artistic cartoon-esque style, ROSE QUARTZ/FULTON STREET I are online for fans to check out now.

Speaking to NPR of the new tracks, vocalist Jordan Dreyer said ‘ROSE QUARTZ is a bright white light, then the low hum of tires on a country highway; FULTON STREET I is two heads in the car turning quietly at passing landmarks, plywood monuments with plastic flowers and the stories that populate the stretch of road between two places. Together, they’re the first two tracks on a record born from long drives like that, between a new and an old home, that takes a wide-angled shot of a city and just outside of it. How events there linger on in the memory of all those involved, carrying the characters off in thoughts of grief and healing to other planes and other histories.’

Australian fans can catch La Dispute this month as they hit Good Things Festival starting December 7th in Melbourne before playing Sydney and Brisbane on December 8th and 9th respectively. The band will then return to Melbourne and Sydney on December 11th and 12th for a further show in each city to wrap up their Australian appearance.
