KING PARROT // Drop Album Title & New Video

Grinding bonox bozos King Parrot have released single Like a Rat featuring Phil Anselmo and Slattz Slattz getting a bit too friendly under the covers.

The band has also dropped the name of their new album: Dead Set, featuring a creepy cover only KP can lay down. It’s set for release on 15 May.

They’ll also support the album with a massive national tour in May with tour dates below.

Our larrikin lashers will release the album in Australia via EVP Recordings. Horrorcore Records will handle the US release, with Agonia Records releasing in Europe.

According to a statement, the album was “recorded by the legendary Philip H. Anselmo (Pantera, Down) at his Nodferatu’s Lair studio in New Orleans, Dead Set showcases the signature King Parrot sound, laying waste to the senses with high octane grind, thrashing riffs, pummelling beats and punk rock mayhem. More hotly anticipated than a half price happy hour, Dead Set is a relentless aural assault proving that somehow the band show no signs of wear and tear following a brutal touring schedule over the last 18 months.”
