Dear Joey and Brooke, What a wild ride! I just wanted to write to express …
Killswitch Engage singer Jesse Leach is spitting chips. That’s obvious in a recent Facebook post, with the singer highlighting issues of murder, racism and mankind’s divide.
Leach opens his social media post “knowing full well the insurmountable ridicule and abuse” he may receive. This however do not seem to be the case.
The majority of fans and commenters alike have endorsed the frontman’s comments, who takes a stab at “manufactured media” for occupying the minds of the people.
He highlights the prevalence of racism, and points to distractions like social status, fantasy games and vanity as causes.
It’s hard to decipher the main message the Killswitch singer is trying to get across, but it seems the topic of death used as a political platform, and humanity’s inability to see truth before the clock stops ticking, is most prominent.
Leach promised fans he’ll use his music as an “ instrument of light and hope” in a “world of darkness”.
What do you think? Is this a rant gone too far or is Leach spot on?
