Dear Joey and Brooke, What a wild ride! I just wanted to write to express …
American rockers ISSUES were under the magnifying glass at the end of 2017 with speculation swirling about co-founding member and unclean vocalist Michael Bohn parting ways with the band.
After multiple cryptic tweets, instagram posts and changes to social media bios, the rumour mill was rife with theories on what had happened.
MORE: ISSUES // Is Co-Vocalist Michael Bohn Out Of The Band?
Well finally the speculation can stop! Earlier today Bohn posted a statement to his instagram account explaining what caused the split between him and the band, as well as his new projects and endeavours.

Michael Bohn started ISSUES with his fellow former Woe Is Me co-vocalist Tyler Carter and they released their debut EP Black Diamonds in late 2012.
Bohn has confirmed that he has no plans on quitting music, stating instead that he’ll be teaming up with Kevin Hanson, another former Woe Is Me member for a new project.
ISSUES’ official Twitter also posted about the split, linking to their website where you can find statements from ISSUES as a band, Tyler Carter and Michael Bohn.

Although it’s a sad start to the year for fans of the metalcore group, it’s not entirely unexpected and does bring clarity to the situation.
The upside? We now have two new projects that we get to check out in 2018!
Not only do we get to see how ISSUES develop their sound without their previously ever-present unclean vocals, but a brand new project with Bohn and Hanson? Now that’s something we’ll be keeping an ear out for!
