ILLVSIONIA // New Single Premiere ‘Betel’.

It’s not often we premiere new singles from international acts, but when we do, it’s because they have some serious talent.

We’d like to introduce you to Canadian metalcore quartet Illvsionia and their new single, Betel.

If you’re into the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, Northlane or Issues, then we suggest taking some time out of your day to give these guys a session.

Betel is the third song off the band’s album, Vrania. Lyrically it plays with the concept of the polarities of the mind.

“It’s a constant battle, but you are the one who is in charge of the ‘perfect order’ of your being and mind,” says the band.

Vrania is set to be released on November 11 this year, with the album’s mastering done by John Naclerio (My Chemical Romance, A Skylit Drive, Knuckle Punk, Real Friends).

Illvsionia share what is quite possibly the coolest mutual bond ever, having a sacred connection to a spirit animal, a camel named Paco.

But wait, there’s more. The visualization of Betel was inspired by video games such as Starcraft (not enough minerals) and Assassin’s Creed.
