Dear Joey and Brooke, What a wild ride! I just wanted to write to express …
Celebrating a decade of Music for the Recently Deceased, I Killed The Prom Queen are playing the album around Australia this April.
The short string of dates will treat fans to a full album show, and recognises IKTPQ’s 16 years together as one Australia’s metalcore pioneers.
Their second album paved the way for scene staples Parkway Drive and The Amity Affliction. Taking the Australian music scene by surprise, 2006 proved a banner year. They recorded the album in Sweden with renowned Gothenburg-sound producer Fredrik Nordstrom. It released to critical and fan acclaim.
“MFTRD is an album we’re super proud of still to this day,” guitarist Jona Weinhofen said in a statement. “It’ll be fun to play it in its entirety which is something we’ve never done before. We’re working on bringing back an old friend to help out as well!”
Ticket information will be posted as it comes available.
