HARD NOISE: MINISTRY // Sign to Nuclear Blast Worldwide

Pioneering industrial metal act Ministry, led by out-there vocalist Al Jourgensen, have made a surprise signing to worldwide metal label Nuclear Blast Records.

According to the label, the band has just finished recordings on new album AmeriKKKant, tentatively scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2018.

“This album, AmeriKKKant,” states Jourgensen, “will provide FEMA type relief for the devastation ‘Hurricane Cheeto’ has brought upon us,” referring to President Donald Trump.

Ministry have sold over three million records, played over 2,000 live performances, and appeared on movie soundtracks including The Hurt Locker, Artificial Intelligence, The Matrix, RoboCop and Saw, Ministry have made a massive contribution to the music industry in America and abroad since the late 1980s.

Ministry was slated to tour Australia with Filter this month, before being called off in August.

Al & Ministry was last in the country for Soundwave Festival 2015, which he hinted would signal the end of the band.
