Aussie metal’s favourite sons King Parrot have been forced to cancel their upcoming European tour, according to a statement by the band.
Currently touring the United States with Superjoint and DevilDriver, the band and management posted this on their Facebook earlier this afternoon:
“The Europe and UK tour we had planned throughout October and November is cancelled due to a situation beyond our control. We are working hard with our management and agents to make a tour happen in Europe and the UK for the same time. As a result, will be completing the entire current US tour with Superjoint.”
Details surrounding the cancellation are yet to emerge.
King Parrot released their third studio album Ugly Produce via EVP Recordings last Friday, 22nd September.
Phil Anselmo of Superjoint and Down also produced their second studio album, 2015’s Dead Set.
KP will return to Australia for a headlining tour with Disentomb and Pagan through December.
This article will be updated when more details come in.
