GOOD THINGS FESTIVAL // Upgrade To Flemington Racecourse

Due to overwhelming demand for tickets to December’s inaugural Good Things Festival, organisers have moved camp to the bigger Flemington Racecourse.

Originally slated for the Melbourne Showgrounds, moving the The Offspring and Stone Sour led day-long festival to the Racecourse will ensure “everyone gets the opportunity to see this incredible line-up. The new venue with increased capacity guarantees the best experience for our patrons with space, sound and environment,” a statement reads.

All tickets already purchased remain valid for the new venue.

Promoter Chris O’Brien states: “It was apparent the first day we went on sale that tickets for the Melbourne show were flying out the gate. With so many bucket list moments on the Festival we simply had to make the decision to move to a larger venue to accommodate everyone. The Offspring will never perform Smash plus a greatest hits set again in Australia so to not allow fans that opportunity along with getting to witness BABYMETAL’s incredible live show with full production for the first time was simply not an option.”

Other highlights on the bill include pop-punks All Time Low, Celtic punks Dropkick Murphys, butt-kickers WAAX, metal torchbearers Bullet For My Valentine, emo legends the Used, equally emo Dashboard Confessional, and the aforementioned BABYMETAL, for what will be their first ever Australian performance.

Tickets are on sale now.
