If you were expecting this record to be just like the Ecca Vandal we’ve come to know and adore, be warned, she has another thing coming for us. She has reinvented herself with her new song Future Heroine and we couldn’t be more in love or excited with the announcement of her new self-titled album.
Releasing her self-titled album on 20^th October via Dew Process/UMA, Vandal and fellow band member, Kidnot co-produced this record in their home studio based in Melbourne and have really pushed themselves to showcase Vandal’s sonic disparity, as we can hear between already released tracks Broke Days, Party Nights and Future Heroine.

This album sees Vandal collaborating with a plethora of different artists, working with the likes of her personal heroes, Refused vocalist, Dennis Lyxzén, and former Letlive, vocalist, Jason Aalon Butler on Price of Living. She also has fellow Australian hip-hop artist, Sampa The Great lending her inimitable voice on Your Orbit, which was also co-written by New York, indie singer-songwriter Darwin Deez. Vandal also reunites with Sydney bass master Moonbase on Dead Wait.

With friends like these, Vandal’s album is sure to be something other-worldly.
