THE DIVES // Release New Track ‘Make It Like The Movies’

NYC-based rock n’ rollers The Dives have released their latest single Make It Like The Movies, taken from their latest Everybody’s Talkin’ EP.

The Dives is guitarist and lead singer Evan Stanley, guitarist and lead singer Mike Lefton, bassist and singer Sergio Ortega and drummer and singer Jimmy Meier.  Evan is the son of legendary KISS vocalist and guitarist, Paul Stanley. Despite the pedigree, Evan insists “you won’t hear anything that sounds like KISS at The Dives’ show.” As you’ll hear, it’s bright and brassy bubblegum pop with the soul of a garage band.

Sergio describes the band as “a rock band playing catchy songs.  Big hooks, but rattier than Top 40.” They’ve already made a splash in the NYC rock club scene despite their relative age on the circuit.

They’ve recently toured the UK, exposing them to bigger and brighter audiences. They’re also gearing up for a US tour through August.
