Up-and-coming band Diamond Construct have released a new single alongside the news of their signing to Greyscale Records, and it’s definitely heavy.

Tipped by peer band Polaris to be the band to watch in 2019, triple j’s The Racket premiered the brand new single, Submerged, last night.
Of the single, vocalist Kynan Groundwater shared his hope of creating emotion from the track.
“Sparked from emotion, this song was written solely for the purpose of the listener experiencing the same things we felt writing it. Lyrically, Submerged came from a time where personally, things were sinking; so musically it actually came together reasonably quickly. Submerged is one of the heaviest songs we’ve released to date. We’re excited to share this new direction in our sound with you. This is just a taste of what’s to come.”
With the single comes the news of Diamond Construct‘s signing to Greyscale Records, adding to the record labels growing roster of upcoming bands.
Speaking about their signing with Greyscale Records, the band were happy to be given the chance to show the world what they’ve got.
“Signing with Greyscale Records means the world to us as musicians. Starting a band and hoping for the best seems like a dream sometimes but feeling like we had put in a hundred percent for so long and not getting much back was draining. In the process of writing we knew something big was going to happen eventually if we got the chance and taking this step with such an amazing record label is an opportunity of a lifetime.”
The band will soon hit the road with label mates Alpha Wolf and Justice For The Damned, willing to prove their a band to keep an eye on going into the new year.
Beginning December 7th, Diamond Construct will open for Alpha Wolf and Justice For The Damned in Perth before heading to Adelaide, Melbourne, Mooroolbark, Brisbane and Taree before finishing in Sydney on December 22nd.
