BIGSOUND // Announce 2017 Tastemaker Lineup

Bigsound, the annual gathering of the who’s-who of the Australian music industry, has announced its two keynote speakers.

Speedy Ortiz’s Sadie Dupuis and indie label head for PIAS, Kenny Gates, will take top billing on the already stacked guest speaker lineup. For those wanting to catch some tips from the pros that lean more towards the alternative side, the lineup includes PR mastermind Emily Kelly from Deathproof PR, ARIA CEO Dan Rosen, US pitchfork writer Jillian Mapes and morning radio favourite, triple j’s Zan Rowe.

The conference also includes performances from some of our favourite Australian up and coming acts including Clowns, Endless Heights, Introvert and Pagan.

Purple passes give access to all festival venues and conference events, the closing night party, official parties, the delegate networking portal, and are available for the special rate of $470 until July 31.  For those only interested in some banging tunes, a four-night rainbow pass gives access to all festival live venues (from 8pm) and the closing night party for $85.
