Messrs. Nick Piss and Twiggy Hunter cordially invite you to ascend to Heavens Gate on new 90s inspired video Loner, the latest single from the most mental duo in rock ‘n’ roll, The Beverly Chills.

Produced by Liam Somerville of Capital Waste Pictures, the video is a parody of the San Diego millenarian cult Heavens Gate. 39 members committed suicide in order to transcend earthly form and join an orbiting spacecraft. Members were castrated and poisoned in 1997. No Seinfeld finale for them, unfortunately.

The pair also commit themselves to castration in the video. The testicles in question also feature replica Lemmy (RIP) warts, according to a reliable source. If your work doesn’t let you see this video, then my advice is to quit.

“The video features authentic hard copy tape of Heaven’s Gate founder “Do” (AKA Marshall Applewhite). This tape was hand sent by the sole remaining member to the producer of The Beverly Chills new clip,” according to a statement. At the risk of editorialising, that’s kind of badass. The balls on that guy! Oh, yeah, sorry.

They’ll be supporting the video and latest EP Leave Me Hanging with shows across the country. It’s free (or near enough) so whatever excuse you have for not going, it already sucks.

To date, they have shared the stage with Dune Rats, Ocean Grove, Northeast Party House, These New South Whales and The Gooch Palms.
