BALLOONS KILL BABIES // PREMIERE—New Single ‘Illuzia’

Brisbane’s torchbearers of all things post-rock and prog have released Illuzia, the second single from their upcoming EP Prodromal. Watch the video below:

The dreamy clip is a ‘collective visual interpretation of the sound’, in which they collaborated with videographers Luke McClean and Beau Sharpe to “drive home their philosophy of the music being the most important aspect of the band, removing ego and message from the work.”

The three piece have also announced a headlining show, set for 22nd July at the Foundry, Brisbane. They’ve enlisted local favourites Kodiak Empire, Red in Tooth and Inovo as supports.

“It’s our first headlining show in a while and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s played out. The Foundry is an excellent venue and incredibly supportive of independent music and all the bands on the bill are not only close friends of ours, but incredibly talented” says guitarist Twiggy Carter.

Balloons Kill Babies are backed by Dead Letter Circus’ ex percussion mastermind, Scott Davey. They have shared the stage with some of the most forward thinking acts such as The Ocean, KLONE, and Voyager.
