AS IT IS // Premiere new Aussie Tour Doco

Did you catch pop-punk stars As It Is on their Aussie tour? Relive the highlights with their awesome new tour documentary! Watch below:

Last October As It Is charmed audiences all over Australia, from Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney and Melbourne, plus playing a set at Tape Deck Festival. The tour supported debut album Never Happy, Ever After (UNFD/Fearless) and featured very special guests With Confidence. Watch the lads ignite crowds, tour the Opera House and hug a koala. Aww.

Such is the clamour for As It Is material, they’ve released three videos from the album so far: Concrete, Dial Tones and Cheap Shots & Setbacks. (Click links to view)

Since the album’s release in April, As It Is’ popularity has surged to Europe and the UK and hopping the Atlantic to earn them a whole-tour spot on the US Vans Warped Tour.

As It Is are fronted by Minneapolis born and Berkshire raised Patty Walters. His two YouTube channels broadcast the singer’s video blogs and covers of a diverse range of tracks where Patty plays every instrument and handles every element of production. To date, it’s gathered 600,000 subscribers and in excess of 2 million plays.

As It Is was of Alternative Press’ 100 Bands You Need To Know, the new album was produced by James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Dashboard Confessional), and is described by Outburn Magazine as “An impressive first outing that sets the stage for As It Is‘ bright future.” We said the album is “sure to be a hit with pop punk diehards, and those who need an introduction to the bands that started the whole genre” in our April edition, which you can download FREE, now!

The band was also voted Best British Newcomer in Rock Sound Magazine’s Reader’s Poll.
