A DAY TO REMEMBER // Announce New Album & Video, ‘Bad Vibrations’

Florida hardcore darlings A Day To Remember have announced the title of their sixth album, Bad Vibrations, set for release on 19 August through ADTR Records/Epitaph.

They’ve also accompanied the announcement with a video for the title track, which you can watch below.

According to a statement, “A Day To Remember unapologetically remain true to their blend of pop-punk and hardcore throughout Bad Vibrations, delivering a gutsy and commanding 11 tracks with blistering rhythms, catchy choruses, gang vocals and aggressive mosh moments.”

The recording process involved legendary Bill Stevenson of The Descendents and Jason Livermore (Rise Against, NOFX). Frontman Jeremy McKinnon said “We completely changed the way we wrote, recorded and mixed this album. It was one of the most unique recording experiences we’ve ever had. We rented a cabin in the mountains 30 minutes outside of town and just wrote together in a room, which was the polar opposite of the last three albums we’ve made. And working with Bill was an awesome experience. He was a bit hard to read at first, so I think we subconsciously pushed ourselves harder to try to impress him. As a result, we gave this album everything we had.”

Named Alternative Press’ “Best Live Band of 2015,” A Day To Remember – vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, guitarists Kevin Skaff and Neil Westfall, bassist Joshua Woodard and drummer Alex Shelnutt – have headlined festivals internationally such as the Big Ass Tour in Australia in late 2015, clocked up #1s on the Billboard Rock, Indie and Alternative Charts, sold over a million units and chart 900 million streams around the globe.
