AT THE DRIVE-IN // Reunion on the Cards?

Could At The Drive-In be on the cusp of announcing a reunion tour?

A short 15-second video clip points to the band’s website, where an announcement will be made tomorrow.

Formed in 1993 the American post-hardcore outfit called it quits in 2001 after citing “complete mental and physical exhaustion”. This came after frontman Cedric Bixler-Zavala’s dummy-spit on stage at Australia’s Big Day Out that year.

In 2011 the outfit played a string of shows in America and performed at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Splendour in the Grass, Fuji Rock and Reading and Leeds.

Rock On The Range festival’s announcement last year for its 2016 lineup included At The Drive-In, but member Jim Ward “could neither confirm nor deny whether ATDI would actually be performing”.

Sources however have indicated that the band will perform, but it’s unknown which members will take part.

Our fingers are crossed that At The Drive-In put squabbles aside to reform, and most importantly, pay Australia a visit.
