CONVERGE // Announce Download Sideshows With War On Women

More news has arrived from the Download Festival camp with another sideshow announced in the form of Converge and War On Women.

With last years The Dusk In Us the first album release from Converge since 2012, fans will be able to witness the band’s evolution-while still maintaining their classic sound-over the festival and sideshow dates.

Formed in 1990 and having nine albums under their belts, hardcore punk outfit Converge will rock Australia at both Download dates before hitting the road for a three-day tour across other Australian capitals, appearing in Brisbane March 12th, Adelaide March 13th and Perth March 14th.

Along for the ride on all sideshow dates are like-minded hardcore punks War On Women, a co-ed feminist band building a solid foundation off the back of their 2015 self-titled album. Penning catchy and confrontational songs focusing on social issues in the world today, the band has been touring relentlessly and look to continue once they reach Australia.

No sideshows will be added to Sydney or Melbourne, with Download Festival the only place to catch these two bands as they look to get fans moving and thinking in the blended way punk music can.

Tickets for Converge and War On Women’s sideshows go on sale Tuesday November 27.
