VIOLENT SOHO // Release New Single & New Beer

You read that right – Mansfield’s finest rockers Violent Soho have released new single No Shade and new beer the East Coast Crusher in collaboration with boutique brewery Stone & Wood.

Stone & Wood reached out to Soho after seeing them pick up a case of their ale during filming for video Dope Calypso in 2013.

The beer itself, according to a statement is “a Pilot Batch – meaning it’s an experimental collaborative brew which is rare, limited and, until now, never existed. The East Coaster Crusher is an Aussie unfiltered Kolsch that’s been dry hopped with Ella and Victoria’s Secret which hits your tastebuds with a floral punch up front then balances out with a refreshing bitterness,” whatever the hell that means.

On the collaboration, Stone & Wood says: “Working with good, like-minded people from our community to brew good beer is what we’re about. The Violent Soho boys are our biggest fans and so we were stoked for them to be able to brew their own beer with us.”

Violent Soho says: “People get to do collaborations with companies all the time but very rarely do you get to collaborate with the best in the industry. We feel like the luckiest dudes in the world that we got to hand craft our own beer with Stone & Wood in the Byron Bay Brewery. We cannot wait for everybody to try our East Coast Crusher.”

Violent Soho will launch the beer with special tasting parties taking place simultaneously across the country on 13th October. Merch and ticket giveaways will occur on the night.

Fans can purchase a limited run of the beer later this month via the Stone & Wood website.

Soho are gearing up for their massive Australian tour with The Bronx and Luca Brasi this October. They recently completed a US run, including a set at Chicago’s Riot Fest.

Their beer announcement coincides with the release of new single No Shade from chart-topping album WACO.
