The five piece formed in 2014 in the country town of Port Pirie, South Australia. After six months of exclusively playing local shows, they secured their first main support slot, jumping on tour with Aus metalcore giants, Feed Her to the Sharks. Since then, they have shared the stage with the likes of Escape the Fate, Dream on Dreamer, Confession and Saviour, just to name a few. In recent years they have also toured the East Coast of Australia multiple times, racking up support along the way.

The single is the first cut off their upcoming EP, which was recorded with Troy Brady, formally the guitarist of The Amity Affliction. It is slated to drop later this year, and will follow the release of their debut EP Foundations, issued in 2015.

Foundations helped establish a name for the band, receiving the support of Amity’s vocalist Joel Birch who ranked the EP in his top ten for the ‘Afends Fast N Loud’ national competition, leading to the EP coming in as a runner up overall.

Keeping this momentum going, the band released a single and music video for Never Change in 2016.  The track peaked at Number one on the Triple J Unearthed Metal Charts and Number four on the ITunes Metal Charts. The accompanying video also aired on national television via ABC Rage, helping the band grow their fan base.

The Daily Chase are Rory Cuthell (Vocals), Marc Patterson (Guitar/Vocals), Jake Mcdonald (Guitar), Ben Heidrich (Drums) and Nick Wilks (Bass).
