HARD NOISE: PAIN // To Bring The Noise Down Under

Legendary producer and death metal titan Peter Tagtgren is bringing his industrial band Pain to Australia for the very first time next year, in May.

The Swedes will be here in support of their eighth studio album, Coming Home, out now on Nuclear Blast.

They’ll begin their tour on 23 May in Perth, and take in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.

Though best known for his work in Swedish death metal stalwarts Hypocrisy, collaboration with Rammstein’s Till Lindemann and production in his Abyss studios, Tagtgren and band “deliver an inescapable sonic assault” with his mixture of heavy synths, industrial beats, and crushing guitars.

“We cant wait to play for our Australian fans. They’ll get 100% energy from us, we’re so happy to be finally coming!”, Peter says in a statement.  “Please come to the shows and support us, cause we will give you all we got, on the last Europe tour, fans voted for the songs they wanted to hear, we copied the first 15 on the list and added a few more. Let us know what you want to hear!”

Main supports for all shows are Melbourne’s industrial crossover breakouts Witchgrinder.
