The political cesspool of Canberra has spawned some more quality metal, with brutalists Hostel releasing a bloodthirsty new video for Malevolent. Watch below:
Not even a year old, the boys have already released their debut EP Fake Friends And Bitter Ends, which is all about chunky riffs and killer leads.
“The addition of a second guitarist added much more beef to their sound and with that came a change in direction,” a statement reads.
Originally known as Kitten Hurricane, they decided taking the name of the Eli Roth horror porn flick was more appropriate.
They’ll be launching the single on 10 March at the Basement in Canberra with a solid line-up of supports including A Breach of Silence. Event details here.
Their debut album, also taking the Malevolent name, will see release in May.
