DRIVEN TO THE VERGE // Release Debut LP ‘Transitions’ + ‘Persistence’ Video

Melbourne post-hardcore stage conquerors Driven To The Verge are proud to premiere their debut album Transitions, with accompanying video Persistence. Watch below:

The boys issued this statement, which we reckon is pretty much the best statement of all time: “The Melbourne based band have compiled ten heavy hitting tracks that will have you turning to the dark side quicker than Anakin in a sandpit! So force choke your smartphone and listen to their album now!”

Over 2016, the band worked on Transitions with producer Roman Koester at Complex Studios. It was mixed and mastered by Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, Emmure, Attila, We Came As Romans). Thomas Pirozzi of Sienna Skies also makes a guest appearance on Skybound.

The video for Persistence was filmed by Gareth McGilvray. McGilvray also directed their previous video, What You’ve Become.

This is the band’s first full length release. Previous releases include 2010’s There Is An End EP, the 2013 single Rule Breaker, and 2015 single Absent Eyes.

Forming seven years ago, the band has played alongside its fair share of prominent international and Australian bands: Protest The Hero in April, Bleeding Through, Norma Jean, Chelsea Grin, The Amity Affliction, In Hearts Wake, Northlane, Thy Art Is Murder & Make Them Suffer.

Over this year, band is set to hit a location near you to support of Transitions.
