Approachable Members of Your Local Community // Drop Debut EP


Indie-rock band, Approachable Members of Your Local Community have just announced their upcoming tour dates in support of their latest release of their debut EP, If There’s Anything You Need, Please Don’t Hesitate to Contact Us.

The release features six soul-infused funk tracks, emphasised with sophisticated horns, extremely tight rhythm sections, and obscure, yet mesmerizing melodies.

Releasing three tracks from the EP, including, Millennium Queen, Semiotic Vision and Velcro, have seen the Melbourne-based band earn airtime on stations including, Triple J, Unearthed, 3RRR, 4ZZZ and Edge Radio, among others, as well as being added to various Spotify playlists globally.

Recorded and mixed by Casey Harnett of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and mastered by Poon Heads of Tame Impala and Pond, the tracks have also received praise from international tastemakers from the The Burning Ear (US), Mahogany (UK), HillyDilly (CAN) and Fresh Finds (USA), among others.

Their popular track, Semiotic Vision allowed them to headline their own show in Melbourne, as well as joining Kira Purus on stage with her Tension’s tour. Further from that, Approachable Members performed at The Squeeze mini festival alongside Lime Cordiale and Bootleg Rascall.
